TVS INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION

On this occasion, I was summoned to carry out an artistic intervention of Volume VII of one of the best-known house music events in Buenos Aires, Bonaire. The proposal that came from the team was to carry out an interactive intervention that involved tv screens as the main media of interaction.
The event was held at Palacio San Miguel, a place characterized by its elegance and materials like glass, statues, ancient objects, and the imposing infrastructure of a building that has been hosting events since 1976.
The set up was mainly the TVs  merged in between pillows and botanicals to evoke the narrative of the grand Palace.
The combination between a red and shiny fabric as a floor, and old cushions and balusters, helped us to frame this intervention.
Considering that botany is present in all Bonaire Volumes, we decided to include it as part of the scene.
We placed cameras at key points in the room that recorded a POV of the televisions. In this way, people could see both the booth of the DJ who was playing live, and themselves watching the set.
Direction and Setting: Candela García Sindes and Lautaro Toledo.
